Mark IV January 7, 2018
Reviewer: Michael Brookman from Fork Union, VA United States
I have been wearing Kitanica gear since I meet the crew at SHOT back 4-5 years ago. Great stuff. I just recently purchased the new Mark IV coat.
Pro:
1.Built better than anything I have bought as far as jackets go. Well except my Mark VI, its just as good.

2. Great pockets, located just where you need them.
Con:
1. Very stiff can be hard to put on. But I think this would change if you wear it enough.

2. Sizing does not mirror the Mark VI jacket. This is a tailored fit jacket. I carry a firearm and other gear on my belt. With the gear on you can not zip up the jacket, and the firearm and gear are not an option. The only way I can make this jacket work is to transfer gear to outer pockets. Not an ideal solution.
I have tried several times to call the Kitanica shop but their phone system has been down for a month. It seems the email system is also down.
This is a great built jacket a little pricey, especially if you can't wear it.

Very high quality July 24, 2017
Reviewer: Scott Conner from Des Moines, IA United States
Like all Kitanica products, this one is very high quality.
I got the elbow pads as well. The wife wishes they made a female version of this.
We live in Iowa with "wonderful windy winters". I had this coat last winter and it was wonderful.
I have not worn it yet with short sleeves like the other reviewer yet but I will try.
Pockets galore. You can fit all of your equipment in this jacket easy.
I am in construction so I need cloths to be durable. Kitanica fits the bill

Wicked cool, but don';t wear with short sleeves February 5, 2017
Reviewer: Brian Leininger from Colorado Springs, CO United States
Fits true to size.  I'm 5'11" and 190 lbs, and the large size is comfortable.

Looks wicked cool, and the 1000 denier cordura feels more like an armored carapace than a jacket.  Definitely not soft, but should improve with some breaking in.  Despite this the articulated sleeves have surprisingly good range of motion without binding or riding up the arms.

The inner liner is thin, and if you wear this jacket over a short sleeved shirt, your elbows and forearms can get friction burns - mine did.  Simple solution:  a long sleeved shirt or under layer solves the problem.  Similarly, a better quality liner on the inner collar would have been appreciated, but you can get by with a scarf or neck wrap.

I wish Kitanica had kept the shoulder flashlight strap from the original version.  But this one has plenty of pockets and they are all practical.

Overall, I  really like it, and am looking forward to breaking it in.
